 Celebrating the Lives of the Patriots and the Key Events of the Revolution 2011

On February 19th 2011  Compatriots [L to R]  Mark Day, Chapter President Patrick Kelly, and Chapter Vice President Lee Scouten attended the Annual Crossing of the Dan celebration is South Boston, Virginia.  Vice President Scouten placed a wreath in honor of General Nathanial Green while President Kelly and Compatriot Day participated in the Virginia Society's Color Guard'

On April 13th, 2011 the Thomas Jefferson Chapter participated in the celebration of our namesakes birthday at Montocello

 Thomas Jefferson Chapter Vice President Mark Day [left of photo on left]  attended a Grave Marking Ceremony in honor of Pvt. George Hight on 21 May.  The ceremony was sponsored by the Colonel Thomas Hughart Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution. 

Members of the Thomas Jefferson Chapter SAR, the Virginia SAR Color Guard, and representatives of the Children of the American Revolution attend the annual 4th of July ceremonies held at the graveside of Thomas Jefferson.  This event is sponsored by the Jouett Chapter of the DAR every year.
